Nursing Home Neglect and Abuse Attorney Nancy Iler

Attorney Nancy Iler and the Iler Law Firm practice is focused on helping those injured as a result of nursing home abuse and neglect, as well as the families who have lost a loved one through nursing home negligence in wrongful death cases.

Before becoming an attorney, Nancy was a registered nurse, where she saw the suffering caused by hospitals, nursing homes, and other care facilities that often put profits before patient needs.

My professional career has always been driven by a desire to help people who need an advocate. As a nurse I stood up for my patients when they were not being given the level of care needed. As a trial lawyer, I continue to stand up for people and families who need answers and accountability for injuries and wrongful death caused by others.

My focus is on obtaining justice, answers, and full compensation for injured clients and their families.  I know that all too often, nursing homes and long-term care facilities will not change their dangerous practices that result in injury and death until their are held financially accountable.  If defendants are not willing to pay fair compensation during the litigation process, I will take their cases to trial so that a jury may determine both liability and damages. I have successfully tried cases throughout Ohio.

My Commitment to Improving the Lives of Seniors

Professionally, one of my most gratifying roles is to challenge nursing homes that don’t deliver the care they promise. Personally, I want to do even more to help nursing homes deliver better care. So I’ve teamed up with Music & Memory, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with cognitive impairments like Alzheimer’s. Please see ilerlawfirm.net/music-memory to learn how you can help bring joy into seniors’ lives one tune at a time.
